Phase Alpha

Phase Alpha was considered the defensive phase of the war. After the disaster that was the intial assault on Klendathu, the Arachnid's retaliated. Soon Arachnid hives were appearing all across human controlled space. Deciding that it was better to focus on defense than launching another potentially species fatal assault, the Federation stood it's ground.

Clearing out the bugs from human worlds, the seven months were hard fought. Even now, there are still numerous worlds which the bugs inhabit outside of the AQZ. However the number is nothing compared to the amount controlled directly after Klendathu.

Phase Bravo

At the end of 2217 and into 2218, Phase Bravo began. Seven months into the war, after fighting endless defensive actions, the Federation began making pushes into AQZ controlled space. Phase Bravo began with the invasion of the planet Korari on the outer rim of the AQZ.
